With climate change comes an ever increasing risk of disasters. What is the best practice for responding to communities recovering from such disasters?

Ilan Kelman of the UCL Institute for Risk and Disaster Reduction, University College London and Graham Saunders of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies debate whether temporary housing hinders the recovery process in post-disaster areas.

Moderated by Gonzalo Lizarralde from the School of Architecture of Université de Montréal, this debate is occurring in an online format, and in the end rests in your hands.  Click here to follow the arguments from both sides, add your perspective to the discussion, and cast your vote.
