Elsa Coimbra is a researcher in the field of sustainability science, currently associated to LUCSUS – Lund University and CIES – University Institute of Lisbon. At present she’s dedicated to unravel the human dimensions of biodiversity conservation through case studies, under the title Natural services and cultural benefits: challenges and treasures in biodiversity conservation. From a comparative study of Wolf governance in Europe she is now approaching Bees, particularly through the phenomenon of Colony Collapse Disorder.
