What is an Associate?

What is an Associate?

A MAHB Associate is an individual committed to shifting human behavior– institutional, individual, social– in ways that foster environmental sustainability and the health of the ecosystem services upon which all life depends.  The individual is also committed to action either through projects and initiatives or by contributing to and then disseminating a body of knowledge about how this can be accomplished.  In short, Associates embrace MAHB’s mission. To become an Associate you will need to complete this form, and be willing to be listed on our website. Associates are encouraged to share ideas, work, insight, and efforts to foster social change; receive emails and newsletters; and participate as desired in communication efforts within MAHB and your own community.

What does an Associate Do?

An Associate may develop research agendas and initiate activities, meetings, projects, conferences, and media outreach: the more diverse, creative, and unique the Associate, the stronger the MAHB. An Associate may link his/her website to the MAHB site. We are a community that shares a mission and a vision for the future, desires to change the world by reversing current trends, and recognizes that there are many ways to build common knowledge and momentum.  Visit this page for additional ideas.
