Name – FGNO (Forest Garden Nature Organization), based in Sri Lanka. We restore forest ecosystems using analog forestry or forest-home-garden concept. Active since 1999 and have worked in many regions of Sri Lanka. Much advance than tree planting, evaluate success of forestry using indicator species. Participant communities gain good income in subsequent to changing to perennials, diversification and enriching of crops.
