Win6 Village was born out of the idea that we need to embrace urban agriculture to localize our food production and create community. We took the ideas behind what others are doing with large plots of land, integrating a farm with housing: an agrihood, and brought it down to an urban level that has mixed income and is intergenerational.
We are also looking at incorporating Ecology Centers into the farm areas, creating a sense of place and focusing on education of all ages, especially youth.
