Thursday, April 16, 2015 | 9:00 to 16:00 EDT | Carnegie Conference Center, 1779 Massachusetts Ave NW, Washington DC 2006

CARE’s work in the agriculture sector aims to challenge the discriminatory gender and social norms that undermine agricultural productivity and food security in smallholder agriculture systems. However, monitoring behavior changes related to gender remains a complex, nuanced, and challenging endeavor.

In this knowledge-sharing event, CARE will present several tools and processes that it has developed for measuring, monitoring, and encouraging processes of change among key intervention partners. These tools will include a set of graduated, context-specific gender indicators for men and women in 5 countries (Malawi, Mali, Ghana, Tanzania, India).
