They say a movement starts the moment you unite a group of people and start enacting change, but for us it started a little before the “doing” phase. GenerationEco started like the slow filling of a sink; drop by drop, little by little. This past year many of us saw a huge change in our political system. A change that has led to the elimination of numerous things that have served as a kind of flimsy shield around our planet.
But we also saw another change, in people’s attitudes. A spark; millennials starting to speak their mind more than ever. So many people of different ages, backgrounds, and beliefs joined together for so many different causes in order to protect themselves and let themselves be known. The generation became a shield.
GenerationEco is a movement. This is our spark, where we speak our minds and revolt against the trashing of our planet and our rights. We are all coming together to nix that old flimsy shield and become a new one, together.
GenerationEco is a community. This is people changing their lifestyles to be more sustainable. We are not these perfect eco-gods; we are changing with you. We are becoming Generation Eco right there with you.
GenerationEco is a bash. We are fighting for better and protecting what we care about, but we are also celebrating! We are embracing our strides and using them as fuel for more wins.
GenerationEco is us. The kids. The students. The workers. The artists. The party-throwers-and-goers. The activists. The muses. The outfit-repeaters. The unapologetic opinionators. The empathizers. The movement.
