That is one method, if people agree to that procedure.

Our technology also enables us to do things in a more widespread manner, since now we can talk to almost the whole world at once (assuming that we have something to say that is regarded as that important and relevant).

An example is the Humanian Belief Manual. It is a newborn and may not even survive, but at least it has a chance. It’s something that anyone and everyone can participate in. It is working on a basic ethical philosophy for our species, not just for one’s tribe. Its rationale and methodology is spelled out succinctly on the TOOLS page of the HOME section of the website.

(BTW, you have definite ideas regarding ethical principles. Why not enter some in the Belief Manual? Also, if you do, you can compare your Belief Manual with mine, seeing where we both agree or disagree, and then we could discuss here any differences between us. Difference of opinion offers a wonderful opportunity to deepen one’s thoughts. At least that’s what I believe.)
