One Health Initiative
Public Node Active 5 years, 11 months ago
The One Health Initiative is a movement to forge co-equal, all inclusive collaborations between physicians, veterinarians, public health and environmental health professionals. One Health is the concept that human, animal, and environmental health are linked. Because they are linked, complex issues such as emerging diseases, food safety and security, antimicrobial resistance, and global sustainability must be addressed using an interdisciplinary, One Health approach. One Health seeks to promote, improve, and defend the health and well-being of all species by enhancing cooperation and collaboration between many disciplines.
