There are a few things which need saying.  Is this forum and site supposed to be a self interested book launching?    And what is important here?   The numbers of people in the world ?  The increased fighting around the world   ?  And do people continue to think that all the worlds ills are due to the US  entirely?   The book launchings needs no further discussion.  Without making this a long posting it is numbers that really matter.    It is much less to do with solar cells  and wind turbines.  And recycling ones’ green waste.  These things do matter.  But numbers matter more.    This increases the likelihood of fighting all around the world. Fighting for water.  Fighting for space.   Fighting for survival.     Fighting for resources.   Most of the worlds’ people do not live in the West.  America has many faults but to think that  if America alone   cleans up it’s act the world will be saved is   completely wrong.   Just because there may be a democratic vote about a few issues does not mean the world is on the right track.    There is a huge developing world that does not recognise certain democratic  values and fairness.  It is every man for him self.    These are the places that need to curb their expansion in numbers.  There is a trend amongst white people to continually defer  to other races  to show that they are inclusive and open and not racist.  These are fine attributes indeed.   But do not let these tendency cloud the fact that all people  have the same instincts in order to survive and continue the species. All species are infinitely floored and virtuous at the same time.        And as far as birth control is concerned  Does everyone in the world have the right to have a large family anymore?    Is it an abuse of human rights to say they don’t?   People choose what they want.  They don’t always choose what is right  and what is important in the longer term.   I would say that people often have no idea what is right.    The whole question  becomes very controversial and political  and open to  debate.  However the debate is urgent.    And requires action.
