The only holistic, comprehensive, whole of government and societal approach to overcoming global warming, excessive birth rates, species extinction, infectious disease threats, terrorism, genocide, refugee crisis and human stupidly (well, maybe not that one) is funding and achieving the 17 Sustainable Development Goals as if all global systems and structures are connected and interdependent. — and, require addressing the root causes of these problems instead of tackling them one at a time as if they were not connected. What’s missing is one piece of legislation tapping the $32 trillion in offshore accounts as a result of global corruption and ‘legal’ means of avoiding taxes. Such a legislative vehicle has the potential of rallying a movement of movements.
